Poker software providers need to start making poker apps! Who will be first?

Who will be the first poker operator with an iPad poker client?
I’ve used my iPad for a few weeks now. I’ve noticed a few specific areas where it is used more than others. The main things I use my iPad for are:

Playing games: the iPad is the perfect companion when you want to play games. Especially multiplayer games work so well!
Surfing the web:
Watching movies: It is the ultimate device to watch movies in bed :)
Work related matters: doing presentations, writing documents, doing mindmaps and even making simple design mockups.

Can I use the same username on different gaming portals? Microgaming confuses me

I read on Egaming Rewiew’s website that Ladbrokes launched a new version of its poker client from Microgaming. And I thought I would try it out since it’s been a while since I played on Ladbrokes.
It sure surprised me when I launched the flash poker client and saw that my username from my Unibet account was already pre-populated in the username field. I thought “oh great I can use the same username since both Unibet and Ladbrokes have the Microgaming poker client“.

Why don’t “for fun” poker sites have iPhone apps? I’ll build my own!

Image 1. iPhone multiplayer poker app
I’m starting a new personal project designing a iPhone poker app.
There are a few reasons for this:

I love my iPhone
I love playing poker
The big poker sites/networks don’t have any iPhone apps at the moment
An iPhone app for the big poker sites/networks could be a great addition to their for fun sites

So if any of the major poker sites/networks like PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker,PartyPoker, Everest Poker, IPN, Ongame and Microgaming would like to work together with me then please contact me!
You’ll be able to read about the project and progress here.

Image 1. Unibet’s instant poker login.
Why do I have to log in again when I start the instant poker client by Microgaming on Unibet?
It just takes longer for a player to start playing so why isn’t it a single sign on solution built for the instant poker? Unibet’s bingo solution starts right away without me having to log in again.
And what is even more confusing, there is a checkbox in the instant poker log in dialogue “Remember Login Details” and I’ve checked it, but I still need to type in …
