Customize Your Content Depending On Player States!

Today more gaming portals focus on the player experience which is really good and I enjoy seeing new innovative features. But sometimes I come to portals where things could improve by just a 10 minute user experience session when you develop a new feature/page element.

Today  I got an email from Bet24 letting me know that I still have money in my account. This was a nice email to recieve and it is good for Bet24 as well since I went to the site to place a few bets.

After signing in I got really surprised. There was this banner to the left saying ”Welcome bonus up to €100. Click here to sign up”. But why should I sign up? I already have an account!

Customize content depending on player states

Having a banner like this took focus from what I wanted to do. A gaming operator need to be able to customize content depending on what state a player is in!  In this case Bet24 should use the prime real estate much better and show a banner that is relevant to me!
